Before cleaning, make sure that the machine has had sufficient time to reach room temperature. Never use harsh, abrasive cleaners, heavy-duty cleaners or solvents on any surface. All exterior surfaces can be washed with a damp, soapy cloth and then dried with a clean towel. The tray and inserts must be hand washed with warm water and soap. Tray and inserts are not dishwasher safe (Hand Wash Only). We recommend hand washing the tray and inserts every 5-10 runs. Before relocating, ice maker should sit and dry for 48 hours. It is recommended to store ice maker in a clean, dry place on its feet and not sideways or upside down.
- ! WARNING: To avoid the risk of electrical shock, always ensure the ice maker and power adapter are unplugged from the electrical outlet before assembling, disassembling, relocating, servicing or cleaning it.
- ! WARNING: Never submerge the ice maker or power adapter into water or any other liquid as this may damage the unit or create a hazard.
- !Caution; cold burn hazard, do not touch cold plate, unplug power adapter from wall and/or power port jack from the ice maker to stop finger freezing.
