Partial Cubes or No Ice is MadeUpdated a year ago
Partial cubes can occur after the machine appears to have finished its run while producing cubes that are shorter than anticipated. (sometimes less than 1” or even nonexistent)
There are a few common causes for partial and/or no cubes:
- If the lid is opened during the cycle.
- The Klaris is operating in an environment that is too hot.
- The ice was left too long after the cycle was completed.
- Internal issue with the cooling mechanism
- Motor intermittently stopping during operation
Things to try:
- Remove any ice, refill the water level to “fill line,” run another cycle, and see if the issue repeats.
- Move the machine to a cooler ambient environment with no temperature fluctuations.
- Review the ice sensor and insulated sleeve for damage or air gaps. (this is in the ice machine lid next to the mixer fan)
- Ensure accidental lid opening during the "Freezing" cycle does not occur.
- Harvest ice within the first 0-3 hours of the "Ice Ready" phase.
If partial cubes occur multiple runs in a row, please reach out to customer support for further assistance.
No Ice is Made:
If the machine has finished its run but has no cubes, this could be due to one of the following:
- Timeout alarm
- Blank Screen/Machine Resets
- Cooling mechanism not working properly
If the machine does not yield satisfactory cubes after multiple attempts, please contact customer support for further assistance.
