Timeout ErrorUpdated 2 months ago
Hold Cycle
- The hold cycle begins once the ice sensor detects ice at the desired height.
- Duration: 6 hours.
- During this time, the screen displays “Ice Ready” and has a countdown timer until hold expiration.
- The ice is held just below freezing to maintain clarity and quality.
Harvesting Ice
- The ice can be harvested at any time during the hold cycle by opening the lid.
- Recommended harvest time: within 2 hours of the hold cycle start.
- This minimizes deformation of the cube tops (wavy or slanted surfaces).
Error Behavior
- If the ice is not harvested after 6 hours, a “Timeout” error appears on the screen.
- At this point:
- The machine stops active cooling.
- Ice begins to melt gradually.
- The ice is still clear and OK to use.
- To clear the error, open the lid, press the button or power cycle the machine.
- Make sure the tray is emptied of its’ contents before running another cycle.
Things to Try
- If timing is a concern, use the delayed start function to better align ice production with your schedule.
