Tray is Difficult to Remove from the Freeze ChamberUpdated 2 months ago
Behavior
- The tray should slide out of the freeze chamber with minimal effort and without excessive force. If it feels stuck, do not force it and allow the tray to thaw for 3–5 minutes before trying again.
Common Causes
- Humidity creating condensation that freezes between the tray and machine
- Water spilled into the freeze chamber before the tray was fully seated
- Tray filled above the fill line, causing overflow and spillage
- Leaky tray
Things to Try
- Give more time for the tray to thaw before removing from the freeze chamber.
- Dry the outside of the tray and the inside of the freeze chamber before each use
- Run a Leaky Tray test.
- Move the machine to a less humid environment.
