Mixer Frozen/Stuck ErrorUpdated 2 months ago
Error Behavior
- If the water mixing motor inside the lid cannot spin as commanded, a “Mixer Frozen/Stuck” error appears on the screen.
- To clear the alarm: press the knob on top twice or power cycle the machine. Remove all contents from the ice maker and tray before starting another cycle.
- If the lid does not open easily, do not force it open. Unplug the machine and allow the ice to thaw for 24 hours then retry.
Common Causes
- Inserts not fully seated and/or floating up and interfering with the mixer.
- Restarting a cycle with ice already in the tray.
- Ice overgrowth due to sensor issue.
- Internal motor or electrical issue.
Things to Try
- Verify that the plastic inserts are fully seated at the bottom of the silicone tray and that the tray itself is fully seated in the freeze chamber.
- With the machine unplugged, check that the mixer/impeller can spin freely by hand.
- During a cycle, listen for the mixer sound about 30 seconds after startup — it should be consistent.
- If the error occurs multiple times in a row, contact customer support for further assistance.
